CAPE CORAL, Fla. A man was seriously injured after he crashed his vehicle into several trees, ejecting him through the windshield on Surfside Blvd, just north of SW 18th Terr in southwest Cape Coral.

The Cape Coral Fire Department and Lee County EMS responded to the crash at 10:15 AM on Wednesday.

Multiple third-party callers reported that a blue hummer had crashed into a pole and a man had been ejected from the car.

Crews on scene determined that there was no pole involved, but the vehicle crashed into several trees lining the roadway.

They also reported that he sustained serious injuries to his legs and possibly broke them.
