LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Two people were injured, one seriously, after a violent altercation between several people occurred at the Barefoot Lake Park off Harvest Avenue in Lehigh Acres.
The incident was reported to the Lehigh Acres Fire District at 5:29 PM on Sunday.
The schematics of the situation are currently unknown.
A witness told us that a 24-year-old woman had to be transported to Gulf Coast Medical Center as a trauma alert after being violently assaulted.
A second ambulance was called to the scene for someone with minor injuries, but it is unknown if they were ever transported to the hospital.
As we began to leave the scene, a second altercation erupted, almost turning physical with two men yelling expletives at each other.
LCSO was clearing the scene as we arrived and is investigating the incident.
